This license allows you to flash our performance upgrade to your vehicle using the Diesel+ app. In addition, the app offers the possibility to perform diagnostic functions (read/clear fault memory) and to record real-time data from the vehicle and observe it live via CarPlay (not available for all models).

The specified performance values were achieved and validated with our development vehicles.

To use the app with your Alpina/BMW/Mini, you need either our Diesel+ Wireless Adapter (recommended) or any ENET interface/cable. Vehicles with a 3rd generation 8HP automatic transmission absolutely require the Diesel+ Wireless Adapter to flash the transmission.

If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, we always offer the appropriate transmission software for it. If you have a manual transmission, you save a few euros on the purchase.

License Type: Full license

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number, German "FIN") is a unique 17-character code. You'll usually find it in your vehicle registration document, etched at the bottom of the windscreen, or on a plate in the driver's side door jamb. Providing it is optional and helps us check whether the product is compatible with your vehicle. We recommend it — but if you don't have it handy, that's no problem.

Du kannst gegen einen geringen Aufpreis eine Custom-Map beauftragen. Wenn du Sonderwünsche hast, können wir diese dadurch umsetzen und so die Software auf dich anpassen. Zu den möglichen Anpassungen zählen:

The engine

The BMW B57 engine is a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder diesel engine and represents the latest evolution of BMW’s high-performance diesel power units. It was developed as the successor to the N57 and impresses with its combination of high power density, smooth running and efficiency.

Depending on the variant, the B57 engine features a complex turbo system with up to four turbochargers. These ensure virtually instantaneous power delivery and extremely high torque across the entire rev range.

The engine is renowned not only for its performance but also for its robust construction. Thanks to targeted improvements to the fuel injection system, engine management, oil supply, engine friction and cooling system, every variant of the B57 engine achieves significantly better performance and efficiency figures compared with its predecessor, the N57.

All the technical enhancements to the B57 engine make it an excellent basis for tuning and performance enhancement. Software optimisation, in particular, allows for significant power gains to be achieved without compromising everyday usability or operational reliability.
