This license allows you to flash our performance upgrade to your vehicle using the Diesel+ app. In addition, the app offers the possibility to perform diagnostic functions (read/clear fault memory) as well as record real-time data from the vehicle and observe it live via CarPlay (not available for all models).

The stated performance values were achieved and validated with our development vehicles.

To use the app with your Alpina/BMW/Mini, you need either our Diesel+ Wireless Adapter (recommended) or any ENET interface/cable.

If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, we also offer the appropriate transmission software for it. If you have a manual transmission, you save a few euros on the purchase.

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number, German "FIN") is a unique 17-character code. You'll usually find it in your vehicle registration document, etched at the bottom of the windscreen, or on a plate in the driver's side door jamb. Providing it is optional and helps us check whether the product is compatible with your vehicle. We recommend it — but if you don't have it handy, that's no problem.

The engine

The BMW B37 engine is a compact 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel engine specifically developed for maximum efficiency while maintaining high everyday usability. As part of the modular BMW engine family, it impresses with modern technology, low emissions, and surprisingly powerful performance.

Despite its compact displacement, the B37 engine offers high torque and very direct responsiveness thanks to modern turbocharging. This makes the engine ideal for use in efficient compact and mid-range vehicles with high demands on economy and driving comfort.

The B37 benefits from numerous technical advancements in injection systems, friction optimization, thermal management, and exhaust gas treatment. These measures ensure low fuel consumption, smooth engine operation, and high reliability in daily use.
